Successful Application in Automobile Coating
Recently, we provided a certain automobile manufacturer with a batch of filter elements again, for replacement of the sinter plate dust collector elements in the painting workshop of its plant in China. The painting workshop is equipped with an automatic spray booth with dry separation technology designed and supplied by Dürr. Dürr is a leading company in the global automotive coating industry. Herding® Sinter-Plate Filter PFAS-Free
The Herding® Sinter-Plate Filter is the heart of Herding® filter technology. The rigid base body of the filter elements is made of sintered polyethylene. The effective product separation on the surface – pure surface filtration – is achieved by a filter-active coating. This is homogeneously embedded in the pores of the PE base body and defines its surface. The coating is therefore not a sensitive membrane, but a microporous and hydrophobic coating. The sinter-plate is the main filter element in the sinter board dust catcher and carries out the gas-solid separation task in plastic sintered plates for dust removers. Sinter-plate filter adopts polymer composite and is formed by being sintered by a special high temperature furnace.
